2 minutes not saying

Artist Alyson Provax has posted on her Etsy site a new series entitled “Time Wasting Experiments.”  In various letterpress prints she explores the compulsion and need we all have to always be productive.  As college students, we definitely recognize the drive to always be doing things.  In reviewing these prints take Provax’s advice to look at them as, “permission slips allowing you to spend a period of time in a wasteful way.”

Provax is a printmaker and fiber artist, and explains on her website that she is sensitive to the conflict of wanting to make affordable work, but also maintaining the cost of her production.  Although each print is only $10.00, just send her a message, she’s willing to trade.  We love that.

“Time Wasting Experiments” are available in unlimited editions.
