stairs and seders

Yesterday we went to the gym. This is definitely one of Utts’ favourite places, but definitely not one of Maggie’s (although it’s becoming one).  This has been Utts’ mission. If you haven’t already noticed, Utts is a little bit of a nerd. When she is feeling lazy to go to the gym, she watches sports commercials for inspiration.

This is her favourite.

Here is a great short film about a group of boys in 1986 who created a soccer team in Koh Panyee, Thailand, a small floating village in the middle of the ocean.  On not an inch of soil, the boys created a soccer pitch out of scrap wood and nails.  Watch the whole thing.  Seriously.

Lets not forget the amazing Nike 2010 World Cup ad, “Write the Future.”

What are you on?

Utts loves running and this men vs. women nike ad is BEAUTIFUL.

If this doesn’t make you want to work out… you are a lost cause.

After Utts forced Maggie to run up and down stairs for ages, she went home and made these for Passover dinner at Maggie’s grandmother’s house. Yum. Utts joined Maggie and her family for dinner and ate this and this for the first time.
