a day in the home of

When we meet artists or writers or creators of any kind, we begin to imagine a certain picture of their daily lives. Do they only work creatively, or do they live creatively too?

The sites below feature the homes of these creative types and photograph them in their coziest, lovliest, and sometimes most intimate places.

An Afternoon With

An Afternoon With mainly photographs artists’ homes and gives us just a few sentences about what the person does.

Stephen is an artist.

Terri is an architect.

Design*Sponge has a series where they offer readers Sneak Peeks into the homes of their creative colleagues and followers.  In addition to photographing the interior spaces, they ask the subjects to name their favorite aspect of their home.

Naomi owns a boutique construction firm.

Dana is a garden designer.

The Selby

The Selby is run by Todd Selby and explores artists’ personal spaces. He takes photos of their homes and for each person there is a scanned copy of a hand written interview. What a sweet idea!

Pierre is a pastry chef.

Kosuke is a fashion designer and artist.
