This afternoon I had the pleasure of watching Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer battle it out in the semi-finals of the Australian Open. For a whole 24 hours before the actual match #Fedal was trending on Twitter and everyone who cares about the sport was excited to watch these two legends play for a spot in the final. Nadal lost the first set and slowly but surely fought his way back and won the match 6-7, 6-2, 7-6, 6-4.
The respect that Nadal and Federer have for each other is remarkable. After the game Nadal said, “It’s just amazing to have a player in front of you with a totally complete game.” Federer said, “I thought Rafa played well from start to finish.”
This is what a fighter looks like after he wins.

Watching Nadal play is so inspiring. He runs around the court, making it to every single ball and most importantly, never gives up. He never stops.
After the match I was roaming around the internet and found this-
Yes, I love milk and it does help keep me going but the greater sentiment behind this ad, that where you go is up to you, is one of the truest things. Whether it’s while playing a tennis grand slam and you’re a set down, you’re working in the mailroom with big dreams or you’re on the floor trying to get back up- Find what you love and then never stop fighting.

or… ‘i hate indians. they are a beastly people with a beastly religion.” – winston churchill
Terrific. Many many years ago I came across a photograph in a newspaper – taken during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. A board crudely pained with these immortal words “Bash on regardless”.
Same lesson.
LOVE THIS POST. For obvious reasons.
