Here at nosurefooting we really love abandoned things- buildings in Paris, mining towns in the Namibian Desert and things forgotten in Goa. But we didn’t mean to abandon our blog or our few faithful readers, whom we hope, will come back to us. 🙂

Kevin Bauman began photographing abandoned homes in Detroit, his hometown, ten years ago. 100 Abandoned Houses started in Brush Park, formerly a wealthy, affluent suburb that now lies almost entirely abandoned. There’s something so sad and eerie about things abandoned, but as always, something so beautiful.
